About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer at a food and beverage location in Lewiston Woodville, North Carolina. The role involves monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting access control. The officer provides customer service and clear communication while helping maintain a reliable, welcoming workplace. The position pays $15.12 per hour and is scheduled Thursdays and Fridays from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow site procedures, and report observations to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of food and beverage production, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, access concerns, and facility conditions.
Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrol activities, incidents, and security-related observations.
