Security Officer Part Time Truck Gate
About The Position
As a part-time unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage production location in Lewiston Woodville, North Carolina, you will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, monitoring access points, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and clients while supporting a welcoming environment and following site procedures. The role pays $15.12 per hour and has a schedule listing Monday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM and Sunday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Additional shifts may be available through the company’s Claim a Shift platform.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- Comfort using a computer or tablet.
- Experience with access control and badges.

- X-ray screening experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the food and beverage production location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required entry documentation.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
- Observe and report unusual conditions, facility concerns, and policy violations, and complete accurate incident reports and shift activity logs.
