About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a food and beverage production location in Lewiston Woodville, North Carolina. The officer will help safeguard the site by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control and visitor interactions, and providing professional customer service. The role uses technology as needed and follows site-specific policies and procedures. The schedule is Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $15.12 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Applicable licensing requirements may apply.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet state and/or local licensing requirements if applicable.

Nice To Haves

X-ray screening experience.
Access control and badge experience.
Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor site access by checking credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries and departures.
Identify and report unusual conditions, damaged property, or policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
