About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Officer for a truck gate post in Forest Park, Georgia. The role emphasizes customer service and building confidence through positive interactions with drivers and site personnel. The officer controls and monitors truck-gate access, checks credentials and delivery paperwork, records truck activity, inspects vehicles and trailers, enforces site procedures, monitors security systems, and reports incidents. The position is offered with full-time and part-time schedules. Listed second-shift schedules are 3:00 PM–11:00 PM Wednesday–Saturday (32 hours) and 3:00 PM–11:00 PM Friday–Saturday (42 hours). The hourly wage is $16.00. Uniforms are provided at no cost, and career growth opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor access at the truck gate.
• Verify driver identification, credentials, and delivery paperwork.
• Accurately log inbound and outbound truck activity.
• Inspect vehicles, trailers, and seals for security compliance.
• Enforce site rules, procedures, and traffic-flow requirements.
• Communicate with drivers, site personnel, and supervision.
• Monitor gate security systems and report incidents or irregularities.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and professional gate environment.
