About The Position

The Security Officer - Truck Gate helps maintain a safe and secure environment at a client site by monitoring premises, patrolling locations, securing buildings, monitoring cameras, and observing and reporting activities and incidents. The position helps protect client property and personnel, preserves order while enforcing site regulations and directives, and may provide customer service and information to employees and customers. The role requires walking at least three miles per shift and a valid Michigan driver’s license with a clean driving record. The employee must have or be willing to obtain CPR/first aid/AED certification. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. The posted schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Requirements

• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
• Must have a valid Michigan driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must have or be willing to become certified in CPR, first aid, and AED.
• Must be able to walk a minimum of three miles per shift.
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand, and walk for long periods; the work may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
