About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring a Security Officer for a truck gate post. The role helps maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols, while following DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions. Officers interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public; respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity; and complete reports and documentation accurately and on time. The position also requires participation in training and compliance with DSI safety procedures and manuals. The job requires extended periods on your feet, frequent walking, standing, and movement throughout the shift, including routine patrols and moderate physical activity in all weather conditions. Pay starts at $15.00 per hour. Required screenings include a criminal background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen.

Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable transportation and means of communication.
Basic to intermediate computer skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and perform frequent walking, standing, and movement throughout the shift, including routine patrols and moderate physical activity in all weather conditions.
Criminal background check, motor vehicle screening, and drug screen.
