About The Position
Fort Bend County is seeking a Part-Time Clerk for the Justice of the Peace, Pct. 3. This position is responsible for maintaining all files, utilizing word processing and typing skills, answering telephones and accurately recording messages, and interacting with the public in person and by telephone. Fort Bend County is a growing organization that values diversity and inclusivity in its workplace.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- One year job related work experience.
- Computer and typing skills (minimum 35 wpm).
- Verbal and written skills.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (Spanish-speak & read) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintains all files.
- Uses word processing and typing skills.
- Answers telephone and accurately records telephone messages.
