Travel Wellness Nurse (Full Time)

About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Full Time Travel Wellness Nurse to join our team. This role involves traveling to designated communities within a territory to ensure nursing shifts are adequately covered. The Travel Nurse will lead by example in passing medications, assisting residents with personal care, completing paperwork, and conducting proper training. A key aspect of this position is providing exceptional quality of care for all residents and embodying Arrow's core values through actions, language, and deeds.

Requirements

  • Current LPN license in good standing.
  • Ability to travel to multiple Arrow communities within assigned territory.
  • Available to work a minimum of every other weekend.
  • Through working knowledge of current care standards and regulation.
  • Experienced in hands on care of memory impaired residents.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
  • Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to residents.
  • Ability to communicate with physicians, pharmacies, families, and community staff.
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be criminally cleared.
  • Must be in good standing if you are an internal applicant.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to and assist communities within designated territory to ensure nursing shifts are adequately covered.
  • Lead team by example when passing medications, assisting residents with personal care, completing paperwork, and completing proper training.
  • Provide exceptional quality of care for all residents and demonstrate Arrow’s core values through actions, language, and deed.
  • Maintain and update effective service plans and supervise care staff.
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
