About The Position
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Brownsburg Meadows Assisted Living, you will build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories. You will use your nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role calls for a supportive presence, teamwork, collaboration with nursing and facility teams, leadership that helps the care team meet residents’ needs, and strong interpersonal communication.
Requirements
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
- Proficient medication management skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents.
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
- Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
- Conduct resident assessments and accurately document changes in condition.
- Manage medications.
