Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Assisted Living
About The Position
Mulberry Gardens is an assisted living community offering supportive living environments and specialized care for people with early memory loss, along with assisted living and adult day care programs. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and within the Nursing Professional Practice Framework, the Licensed Practical Nurse provides quality, cost-effective direct care for patients and families within a unit, service, or other primary area of practice. The LPN collaborates with members of the healthcare team to help patients achieve established care outcomes and reports to the Nurse Manager. This position is a medication-pass nurse role scheduled for two four-hour shifts, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., totaling eight hours.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse license.
- Specialization and/or specific work experience may be required.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality and cost-effective direct care for patients and families.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to help patients achieve established outcomes of care.
- Perform medication passes during scheduled shifts.
