About The Position

American Senior Communities is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Rosegate Commons Assisted Living. The role is full-time, with evening shifts and every other weekend. Nurses build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and using nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The position emphasizes supportive presence, teamwork, leadership, collaboration, respectful communication, and a commitment to excellent senior care. Requirements

• Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
• Proficiency in medication management.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates the C.A.R.E. values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Work toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment.
• Manage medications, conduct thorough resident assessments, and document changes in residents’ conditions.
