About The Position
Fellowship Village is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care to aging adults in assisted living. The role provides hands-on care and support to residents as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Current opportunities are per diem across all shifts. The position offers access to ongoing training, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Valid New Jersey LPN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric nursing, particularly in sub-acute care and assisted living.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of and commitment to compliance with regulatory requirements.
- CPR and BLS certifications.
- Flu vaccination required.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
- Administer medications and treatments according to supervisory orders.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and assess their condition.
- Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Accurately document patient information, treatments, and responses to care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
- Follow established nursing care policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
