Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Assisted Living
About The Position
American Senior Communities is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Brownsburg Meadows Assisted Living. The role is offered for full-time day and evening shifts. Nurses build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The LPN helps create a comforting, engaging atmosphere; promotes teamwork among the care team; collaborates with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care; and supports a respectful, positive work environment. Requirements
- Hold a current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
- Have proficient medication management skills.
- Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
- Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
Responsibilities
