About The Position

The Assisted Living Director is responsible for operating the Assisted Living setting in accordance with applicable regulations and standards. The role promotes residents’ physical, personal, and emotional well-being through a team approach. The director establishes and implements policies and procedures, develops staffing plans, reports, and budgets, and coordinates with other departments as needed regarding resident well-being. The position also supports a high level of care by making frequent rounds, ensuring continuity of care, documenting pertinent care information, and observing residents’ overall condition and behavior. The Assisted Living Director assists the Director of Wellness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• LPN license or Medication Technician Certification.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the Assisted Living setting in accordance with regulations and standards.
• Promote residents’ physical, personal, and emotional well-being through a team approach.
• Establish and implement policies and procedures.
• Develop staffing plans, reports, and budgets.
• Coordinate with other departments as needed regarding resident well-being.
• Make frequent rounds, ensure continuity of care, document pertinent care information, and observe residents’ overall condition and behavior.
• Assist the Director of Wellness.
