About The Position

Sika is seeking a National Key Account Manager to join their Roofing Key Account Management team. This is a field-based role focused on strengthening partnerships with leading contractors in the UK, working across high-value Educational, Commercial, and Ministerial projects. The role is central to Sika's expanding national strategy, aiming to deliver quality, build trust, and drive long-term growth within the roofing sector. The successful candidate will manage strategic relationships with major Tier One contractors, oversee project pipelines from design to completion, track spend, identify opportunities, and support supply chain agreements. This position offers a challenging, diverse, and fast-paced environment with significant career development opportunities within a global company.

Requirements

  • A dynamic ability to build and strengthen relationships on a national scale.
  • Strong strategic and commercial awareness of the roofing and wider construction market.
  • Proven negotiation skills with solid understanding of the full project life cycle.
  • The capability to work collaboratively with a regional network.
  • Willingness to travel nationally to support key clients and opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of strategic relationships with major Tier One contractors.
  • Ensure contractual responsibilities are met and exceeded.
  • Manage and cascade critical information from the design stage through to completion.
  • Track project spend.
  • Uncover new opportunities.
  • Support the development of robust supply chain agreements.
  • Operate in close partnership with regional sales teams.
  • Build deep expertise in key account management.
  • Develop advanced capability in strategic relationship management, commercial negotiation, and consultative selling.
  • Translate complex customer needs into clear, commercially focused solutions.
  • Leverage technical and product insight to influence business decisions.
  • Drive account growth in a structured and disciplined way.
  • Travel nationally to support key clients and opportunities.
