About The Position
IndeVets is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This role offers a part-time W-2 employment model, allowing veterinarians to work 1-3 days per week with a guaranteed salary and a schedule they control. The company focuses on providing a sustainable career path with hands-on support and a community of fellow veterinarians. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing veterinarians to focus on practicing medicine. The role emphasizes clinical autonomy, patient care over numbers, and prevents burnout through a supportive structure. Veterinarians will practice across various trusted hospital settings, gaining diverse clinical experience while maintaining the stability of a single employer. Opportunities for leadership, mentorship, and professional development are available.
Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
- Active license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
- Confidence practicing independently
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
Nice To Haves
- GP, ER, or urgent care experience
- Internship training
Responsibilities
- Practice veterinary medicine independently with a focus on patient care.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.

- Potentially gain exposure to surgery, dentistry, ER, or urgent care shifts.
