About The Position
Hamilton Veterinary Hospital, a well-established, community-focused small animal practice in Trenton, NJ, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join an experienced and supportive team, stepping into a thriving practice with a loyal client base, modern equipment, and a collaborative culture. The hospital is fully paperless and equipped with digital radiology, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, an in-house IDEXX laboratory, surgical laser, and therapeutic laser. The practice averages 15 appointments per day, allowing for quality medicine, and offers a 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio. There are no after-hours or on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree
- New graduates welcome
- Passion for providing exceptional patient care and client service
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn and collaborate

- Mentorship available from experienced veterinarians, including surgical training and case support.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and client service.
- Collaborate with a supportive team of veterinarians and technicians.
- Utilize modern veterinary equipment including digital radiology, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, surgical laser, and therapeutic laser.
- Participate in monthly lunch-and-learn programs and other team-building activities.
- Support local shelter initiatives and high school co-op programs.
