Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Westchester County, New York, including the Bronx, Yonkers, White Plains, New Rochelle, Scarsdale, Yorktown Heights, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian will practice independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with ongoing training, experienced mentors, practice managers, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $65,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to post-hire background and motor vehicle record checks before their associated start date.
