Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in Montgomery County, Lansdale, Collegeville, Norristown, Eagleville, Ambler, Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian will practice independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with onboarding, mentorship, experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Schedules are flexible, ranging from two to five days per week. The role averages three to four appointments per day, allowing time with families and less paperwork. Part-time opportunities in the Montgomery County area are available at two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
