About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Albany, NY, including Schenectady, Troy, Amsterdam, Saratoga Springs, Clifton Park, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians receive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities have a guaranteed base salary of $45,000 annually, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Subject to post-hire background and motor vehicle record checks before the associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate mobile hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
