Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love is hiring a part-time Mobile Veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Central New Jersey, including Edison, Piscataway, Westfield, Woodbridge Township, Cranford, Old Bridge, Bridgewater, New Brunswick, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian practices independently in clients’ homes while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four appointments per day, allowing time for families and limiting paperwork. Support includes comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, a 24/7/365 Support Center, and dedicated practice managers. Part-time opportunities of two days per week offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $65,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
