About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Dallas, Grand Prairie, University Park, Duncanville, Sunnyvale, Lancaster, Mesquite, Coppell, Texas, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian practices independently while being supported by a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, ongoing training, seasoned mentors, dedicated practice managers, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Schedules are flexible, ranging from two to five days per week. The role averages three to four unhurried appointments per day. Part-time opportunities at two days per week offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request. Candidates are subject to post-hire background and motor vehicle record checks before their associated start date.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Pass a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes.
