About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in Seattle, Renton, Everett, Bellevue, Kirkland, Bothell, Washington, and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with onboarding, mentorship, experienced-leader support, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed base salary of $55,000 annually, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request. Full-time team members have access to additional benefits.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Subject to a post-hire background and motor vehicle record check before the associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
Conduct mobile appointments in the listed Washington service areas.
Work some weekends.
