Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Wilkes-Barre, Dallas, Clarks Summit, Glen Summit, Scranton, Mountain Top, Pittston, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with a focus on meaningful, emotionally fulfilling veterinary care and a balanced, supported work life. Part-time opportunities are available on flexible schedules of two to five days per week. Veterinarians average three to four unhurried appointments per day. The position includes comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for schedules of three, four, or five days per week are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
