About The Position

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking a compassionate veterinarian to provide hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets and their families in Greenville, Spartanburg, Easley, Taylors, Greer, South Carolina, and surrounding areas. Care is delivered in clients’ homes, allowing the veterinarian to spend unrushed time listening, explaining, and supporting families through end-of-life decisions. The role involves independent mobile practice with onboarding, one-on-one mentorship, and experienced colleagues available for support. Schedules are available for two to five days per week, including self-managed part-time options. Compensation varies by schedule: five-day full-time positions offer a $90,000 base salary plus quarterly bonus opportunities; four-day full-time positions start at $80,000 plus quarterly bonus opportunities; and two- and three-day schedules are prorated. The posting states full-time compensation ranges from $55,000 to $125,000 depending on schedule. Veterinarians choose four weekend days per month rather than working a fixed weekend rotation.
