About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Omaha, Fort Calhoun, Waterloo, Springfield, Bennington, Boys Town, Nebraska, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. This mobile role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules, an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day, and opportunities to practice independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Lap of Love provides comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, a 24/7/365 Support Center, and ongoing training. Three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available. Four-day positions start at $85,000, and five-day positions offer a $100,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available with prorated compensation based on schedule.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
