Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Wauwatosa, Menomonee Falls, Brookfield, Racine, Wisconsin, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian-founded and owned organization offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, emphasizing professional fulfillment, personal freedom, and well-being. The role involves working independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with onboarding, mentorship, experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Schedules are available for three, four, or five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $85,000, five-day positions have a $100,000 base salary, and three-day opportunities have prorated compensation. Additional bonus opportunities are available.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
