About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring an in-home Associate Veterinarian to serve Fresno, Clovis, Newark, Sanger, Reedley, Selma, California, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers a mobile alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules, an average of three to four appointments per day, and time for unhurried appointments and family support. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from practice managers and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available, including full-time and part-time opportunities.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Candidates must undergo a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
• Travel to appointments in Fresno, Clovis, Newark, Sanger, Reedley, Selma, California, and surrounding areas.
