Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Delaware County, Pennsylvania, including Media, Drexel Hill, Havertown, Springfield, Bryn Mawr, Newtown Square, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, support from experienced leaders, and access to a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-, four-, and five-day full-time opportunities are available, as well as part-time opportunities. Compensation depends on schedule: four-day positions start at $107,500, and five-day positions offer a $130,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day and part-time compensation is prorated based on schedule.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), or Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVMS) degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate veterinary hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
- Travel to appointments in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas.
- Practice independently while collaborating with mentors, experienced leaders, and support professionals.
