Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Jersey Shore, New Jersey, including Toms River, Brick Township, Freehold, Manchester Township, Jackson Township, Howell Township, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. The position is veterinarian-founded and owned and is part of a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $65,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a post-hire background and motor vehicle record check before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide mobile hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
