Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Nassau County, NY, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care to pets and their families. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules, an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day, and support from a community of veterinarians and support professionals. The company provides comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-, four-, and five-day full-time schedules are available. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $117,500, and five-day positions offer a $140,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available, with prorated compensation.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to post-hire background and motor vehicle record checks before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
