The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable CSMA Technical Trainer to support statewide customer service operations. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and delivering high-quality training programs for employees across Customer Service Centers, the Contact Center, and Leveraged Services. The trainer provides classroom, virtual, and hybrid instruction on DMV policies, products, services, and performance-related topics, ensuring staff are equipped to deliver consistent, exceptional customer service. The CSMA Technical Trainer evaluates curriculum effectiveness, incorporates feedback, and adapts training content to meet evolving organizational needs. By supporting employee development and reinforcing compliance with state and federal regulations, this position plays a key role in advancing CSMA’s mission of operational excellence, innovation, and enhanced customer experience. The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, serves approximately 6.2 million licensed drivers and ID card holders with over 8.4 million registered vehicles. In addition, the DMV serves many businesses, including dealers, fuel tax customers, rental companies, driving schools, other state agencies, local governments, and nonprofit organizations.
