About The Position

VEGA Americas is hiring a Technical/Manufacturing Trainer for its growing Training department. The position is based at the company's Pasadena, Texas office when not traveling and requires overnight, out-of-market travel approximately 50% of the time. The trainer facilitates technical courses for customers and employees, supports the development and mentoring of instructors, and helps maintain consistent, effective course content and delivery. Training programs must align with business needs, regulatory requirements, and the Quality Management System.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or business-related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of instructor-based experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor-led and virtual technical training courses for customers and employees.
• Continuously improve technical instructional delivery and presentation skills.
• Mentor other instructors in subject matter, course content, and delivery techniques for assigned technical courses.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout the course life cycle.
• Facilitate training programs in accordance with business needs, regulatory requirements, and the Quality Management System.
• Maintain technical knowledge by participating in VEGA product and industry educational training opportunities.
• Report data on completed courses, issues, and absences.
• Evaluate program and training effectiveness by gathering feedback and making improvements as needed.
• Coordinate with fellow instructors to support consistent delivery, ongoing support, learning, and mentoring, while demonstrating teamwork and a strong work ethic.
