About The Position

VEGA Americas is hiring a Technical/Manufacturing Trainer for its growing Training department. The position is based at the company’s Pasadena, Texas office when not traveling and requires overnight, out-of-market travel approximately 50% of the time. The trainer facilitates technical training for customers and employees, supports consistent and high-quality course delivery, mentors instructors, and evaluates and improves training programs. VEGA Americas manufactures, distributes, and services process instrumentation used to measure level, density, weight, and pressure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or business-related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of instructor-based experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor-led and virtual technical training courses for customers and employees.
• Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills.
• Mentor other instructors on subject matter, content, and course delivery techniques for assigned technical courses.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout the course life cycle.
• Facilitate training programs in accordance with business needs, regulatory requirements, and the Quality Management System.
• Maintain technical knowledge by participating in VEGA product and industry educational training opportunities.
• Report data on completed courses, issues, and absences.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and training by listening to feedback and making improvements as necessary.
• Liaise with fellow instructors to ensure consistent delivery and provide ongoing support, learning, and mentoring while demonstrating team spirit and a strong work ethic.
