Technical Trainer Lead, Design (Contract)

Nava PBC
•$100 - $140•Hybrid

About The Position

The Technical Trainer Lead prepares staff at a state workforce agency for major launch milestones of Nava’s paid family and medical leave benefits solution. The role designs and delivers role-based train-the-trainer sessions for claims adjudicators, appeals judges, contact center agents and supervisors, product owners, and leadership. It also manages the training environment and assesses staff readiness ahead of each milestone, bridging agency business operations and Nava’s technology teams so the program works in practice for the people who use it. The role has no direct reports and succeeds through influence rather than authority. It establishes training standards and templates for product managers and designers, evaluates quality through readiness checks and accessibility and plain-language reviews, and escalates gaps to the Program Manager and Senior Program Manager. It does not own the materials individual teams develop for their solutions, the Knowledge Base, the release calendar, or release go/no-go decisions. This is an hourly, full-time 1099 independent contractor position with a 12-month contract duration. Work is on-site at the client’s state capital monthly or as needed, and otherwise remote within the U.S. The start date is contingent on contract award and expected soon after. The position is contingent upon contract award. Contractors are not eligible for Nava benefits unless hired in a full-time capacity; the posting lists company perks and benefits separately.
