Mid-Pacific middle school teachers are passionate about teaching and dedicated to supporting the unique developmental needs of adolescents, including both cognitive and social-emotional growth. As part of a collaborative and highly interdisciplinary community, teachers work across grade levels and content areas, requiring both depth and breadth of subject knowledge. This approach supports the development of students' critical thinking skills, encourages real-world applications, and integrates technology meaningfully into the curriculum. Social-emotional learning is central to the Middle School experience. All teachers serve as advisors, cultivating strong, supportive relationships with students through the delivery of advisory program activities. With expertise in the Language Arts, the Middle School Language Arts Teacher engages students in exploring the world through multiple perspectives using an integrated Language Arts and Social Studies curriculum. This role emphasizes inquiry, empathy, and communication to help students make meaningful connections between themselves, their communities, and the broader world. While the primary focus of this position is in the Middle School, there may be opportunities to teach high school courses depending on departmental needs and the candidate’s qualifications.
