Requirements

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of night cleaning style work and operations.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working with a large team.
• Flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Fluent in English.
• Possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff in cleaning and sanitizing all ovens, steam kettles, mixers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize all kitchen drains, sinks, floors, and walls.
• Clean, dust, sweep, mop, polish, scrub, wash, strip, and buff kitchen and pastry shop production areas and hallways.
• Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using the correct cleaning and rinsing solutions and process.
• Report any damaged or excessively worn pieces for repair.
• Safely utilize and store all cleaning compounds, chemicals, and materials, including soaking solution, utilizing correct protective clothing.
• Maintain knowledge of the State of Florida Health code standards.
• Plan and organize weekly work assignments.
• Track day-to-day opportunities.
• Make recommendations regarding training, performance evaluations, and discipline for overnight stewards/night cleaners.
