About The Position

The Merchandise Operations Supervisor supports store sales, profitability, and the customer experience through daily merchandise operations. Work includes stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, merchandise handling, and maintaining merchandise organization. The position is based in a Neiman Marcus store and reports to the RPSO Manager. The role requires schedule flexibility based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Certain roles may involve standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting or carrying up to 35 pounds.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• Flexibility in managing competing tasks and a “win together” mentality.
• Basic proficiency with the MS Office Product Suite.
• Flexible availability based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily store operations and help direct leads and managers.
• Handle merchandise, transfers, and inbound and outbound freight.
• Fulfill, pack, and ship online and store customer orders.
• Place merchandise to ensure merchandise standards are followed.
• Complete merchandise price changes and reticketing; sign and move product once marked.
• Process reticketing, damages, mark-outs of stock, and related inventory-control tasks.
• Back-stock merchandise and maintain stockroom organization.
• Under the guidance of managers and Visual, merchandise products and set sale events and signage in accordance with standards.
• Support setup and takedown of in-store events and activations.
• Follow safety procedures on the dock and in other work areas.
