About The Position

As a Merchandise Operations Associate, you assist with stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, and merchandise handling, including maintaining merchandise organization. You perform daily operational tasks that support store sales, profitability, and the customer experience. The role is based in a Neiman Marcus store and reports to the RPSO Manager.

You complete merchandise handling, transfer, inbound and outbound freight, fulfillment, packing and shipping, merchandise placement, price changes, reticketing, inventory control, back stocking, and stockroom organization. Under the guidance of managers and Visual, you merchandise products and set up sale events and signage according to standards. You also support in-store events and activations and follow safety procedures in the dock and other work areas. The role requires a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• Flexibility in handling competing tasks and a “win together” mentality.
• Basic proficiency with the MS Office Product Suite.

• Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily store operations and support leads and managers.
• Handle merchandise, transfers, and inbound and outbound freight.
• Fulfill, pack, and ship online and store customer orders.
• Place merchandise to ensure merchandise standards are followed.
• Complete merchandise price changes and reticketing; sign and move marked products.
• Handle reticketing, damages, mark-outs of stock, and related inventory control processes.
• Back stock merchandise and organize and maintain the stockroom.
• Under the guidance of managers and Visual, merchandise products and set sale events and signage in accordance with standards.
• Support setup and takedown of in-store events and activations.
• Follow safety procedures on the dock and in all other work areas.
