About The Position

As a Merchandise Operations Associate, you assist with stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, and merchandise handling, including maintaining merchandise organization. You perform daily operational tasks that support store sales and profitability and enhance the customer experience. The position reports to the RPSO Manager and is based in a Neiman Marcus store location. The role involves merchandise handling and inventory processes, fulfilling customer orders, supporting merchandising and in-store events, and following safety procedures. A flexible schedule based on business needs includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• Flexibility in managing competing tasks and a “win together” mentality.
• Basic proficiency with the MS Office Product Suite.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily store operations and help direct leads and managers.
• Handle merchandise, transfers, and inbound and outbound freight processing.
• Fulfill, pack, and ship online and store customer orders.
• Complete merchandise placements to ensure merchandise standards are followed.
• Process merchandise price changes and reticketing; sign and move product once marked.
• Handle reticketing, damages, mark-outs, out-of-stocks, and related inventory-control processes.
• Back-stock merchandise and organize and maintain the stockroom.
• Under the guidance of Managers and Visual, merchandise products and set sale events and signage while ensuring standards are followed.
• Support setup and takedown of in-store events and activations.
• Follow safety procedures on the dock and in all other work areas.
