About The Position

The Merchandise Operations Associate supports daily merchandise operations, including processing, placement, maintenance, and fulfillment. The role works under the leadership of and reports to the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor/Manager. Responsibilities include processing incoming merchandise, presenting merchandise on the selling floor, maintaining placement standards, locating merchandise for customer orders, and providing customer service. The associate may also assist with store projects, floor recovery, and supply replenishment as needed. The position requires physical handling of merchandise and use of store technology. Schedule flexibility is required to meet business needs.

Requirements

• Ability to lift cartons, climb ladders, and handle merchandise racks and carts; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to retain merchandising standards on the floor in compliance with Visual standards.
• Computer skills and ability to use available technology, including RF guns, PCs, iOS devices, Excel/Word, and proprietary platforms.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and follow through on assigned tasks.
• Ability to drive a company vehicle as needed, in accordance with state driver’s license standards (select doors only).

Responsibilities

• Process inbound merchandise and place and present merchandise on the selling floor.
• Follow direction to maintain merchandise placement and presentation standards.
• Participate in other store projects as needed, including filling merchandise on the selling floor, floor recovery, and supply replenishment.
• Locate requested merchandise within the store and complete customer orders.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond quickly to customer needs.
• Take on ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
