About The Position

The Merchandise Operations Associate supports store sales, profitability, and the customer experience by carrying out daily operational tasks involving stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, merchandise handling, and organization. The role works in a Neiman Marcus store and reports to the RPSO Manager. Associates also support managers and visual teams with merchandise standards, sales events, signage, and in-store activations.

Requirements

At least 1 year of retail experience.
Flexibility in managing competing tasks and a “win together” mentality.
Basic proficiency with the MS Office Product Suite.
Work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

Complete daily store operations and assist leads and managers.
Handle merchandise, process transfers, and manage inbound and outbound freight.
Fulfill, pack, and ship online and in-store customer orders.
Place merchandise to ensure merchandise standards are followed.
Complete price changes and reticketing, and move and sign product once marked.
Process reticketing, damages, mark-outs of stock, and related inventory-control tasks.
Back-stock merchandise and maintain stockroom organization.
Under the guidance of managers and Visual, merchandise products and set up sale events and signage while following standards.
Support setup and takedown of in-store events and activations.
Follow safety procedures on the dock and in all other work areas.
