About The Position

We are looking for a talented and driven Mobile Associate, Store-in-Store to join our dynamic Retail Sales team. In this role, you will be instrumental in bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. Your primary focus will be on active customer engagement, creating energy and excitement around our products and services, and serving as an ambassador for the T-Mobile brand. You will thrive in a high-traffic environment, staying abreast of technology innovations, customer needs, and the evolving retail landscape. This position requires a passion for technology and a commitment to building and deepening customer relationships through meaningful interactions, identifying needs, and recommending solutions. You will be expected to exceed performance targets by excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with a diverse range of customers in a high-traffic retail setting.
  • Utilize digital tools, communicate effectively, educate customers, and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  • Consistently leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions and the onboarding process.
  • Identify customer needs and employ solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services.
  • Recommend wireless solutions and onboarding solutions tailored to help customers understand how to self-serve and utilize the T-Mobile app for their wireless needs, thereby deepening customer relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Complete comprehensive training on the T-Mobile in-store experience, new skills, products, processes, and system knowledge.
  • Review personal results, current promotions, and updates on the Hub to maintain customer readiness.
  • Continuously learn and improve skills to provide the best possible customer experience.
  • Partner with nearby store locations to ensure proper and complete customer onboarding.
  • Participate in skills practice, knowledge sharing, store operations, and opening/closing procedures.
  • As part of operational procedures, you will carry keys to kiosk cabinets, secure the kiosk and assets, and report any lost keys or assets to your manager.
  • Demonstrate a customer-obsessed mindset: be passionate, friendly, and engaging.
  • Connect with customers on a personal level, match their pace, build rapport, trust, and loyalty in every interaction.
  • Commit to providing exceptional service and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Proactively reach out to potential customers to drive sales activity.
  • Follow up with customers, capture referrals, manage Be Back processes, and build relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Perform price overrides for specialty offers specific to National Retail.
  • Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to help support the customer experience from account set up, to device support and account servicing.
