About The Position

Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience.
• Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
• Ability to engage customers warmly, assess their preferences, demonstrate fragrances, and offer tailored product recommendations.
• Ability to maintain merchandising, inventory, hygiene, and compliance standards.
• Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to use point-of-sale technology, digital tools, handheld equipment, and cash registers.
• Ability to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
• Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage customers with personalized fragrance recommendations based on their preferences.
• Demonstrate and sell fragrances and related beauty products, and educate customers about fragrance notes, layering techniques, and usage.
• Build customer relationships and promote repeat visits through attentive, personalized service.
• Review sales goals and stay informed about new arrivals, top-selling products, trends, and promotions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable sales floor.
• Merchandise new receipts; process damages, testers, and selected merchandise for return to vendors; update signs and pricing; and support merchandise moves.
• Promote loyalty program benefits, acquire new customers by opening credit accounts, and help customers complete their purchases.
• Meet and surpass daily sales goals and support individual and store results.
• Use clienteling tools to build relationships and promote offers, launches, and events.
• Use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to process transactions and enhance the shopping experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues and the Beauty team, and participate in ongoing training and vendor education.
