About The Position
Broad Management Group is seeking a hands-on Regional Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at select properties in its portfolio. The role involves taking ownership of assigned properties, strengthening operations, controlling costs, supporting property improvements, and building reliable maintenance teams. The supervisor provides both regional leadership and hands-on maintenance support across multifamily properties, traveling within approximately a four-hour radius and throughout the South Georgia Region as needed. The position is based out of Belmont Hill Apartments in Huntsville, Alabama. It is full-time, with an eight-hour shift, required travel, and participation in an on-call rotation. Overtime may be needed to meet changing organizational needs. The salary is $30–$35, with a generous benefits package. The work may involve physical exertion, including lifting, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, and prolonged standing, as well as exposure to hazardous materials, heights, electrical systems, and other occupational risks. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Additional technical training in maintenance, HVAC, or property management is required.
- HVAC certification and strong HVAC experience are required.
- Proven multifamily maintenance experience and strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, unit turns, and building systems.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Experience controlling maintenance costs, managing inventory, coordinating vendors, and prioritizing multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, make sound decisions, and work alongside the team as needed.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, ability to travel throughout the South Georgia Region, and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Five years of maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and support maintenance teams across assigned properties, ensuring work is completed effectively, efficiently, and professionally.
- Take ownership of properties by focusing on team building, cost control, unit turns, and property improvements.
- Provide hands-on maintenance support in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliance repair, unit turns, and general building maintenance.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, procedures, and property standards across the regional portfolio.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with property managers, regional managers, vendors, and maintenance staff to prioritize work orders, emergencies, unit turns, and projects.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff, hold them accountable, and help build dependable teams.
- Monitor maintenance costs, materials, inventory, tools, equipment, and vendor services to support budget goals and cost control.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, repairs, inventory, and vendor activity.
- Travel within approximately a four-hour radius to provide leadership, training, oversight, and hands-on support.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and work overtime as needed to meet changing organizational needs.
