About The Position

Requirements

• Less than 6 months of prior work experience.
• Ability to read and write to facilitate communication.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from employees and guests.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, and other instructions.
• Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
• Ability to walk 40% of the time, stand 30% of the time, and bend and lift 30% of the time.
• Ability to climb to heights in excess of 10 feet.
• Ability to lift or move a maximum of 5 to 25 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds on a regular and continuing basis.
• Manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and vacuum carpets and floors.
• Mop floors.
• Dust and polish fixtures, furniture, and flooring.
• Clean windows and doors.
• Wash and wipe down stairwells, baseboards, walls, waste cans, and other assigned items.
• Remove trash cans and debris.
• Promptly clean up spills, accidents, and debris.
• Interact pleasantly and helpfully with guests and staff, and provide information about the property and its services.
• Maintain a clean working area and ensure equipment and work materials are not left in an unsafe or unsightly manner.
