About The Position

The Public Area Attendant maintains the cleanliness and upkeep of hotel public spaces while providing warm, memorable hospitality to guests. The role includes daily cleaning of designated areas, assisting guests with questions and service requests, supporting housekeeping operations, and completing periodic deep-cleaning projects.

Requirements

Ability to work a schedule that includes days, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to effectively communicate with guests in public spaces.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event spaces.
Perform daily cleaning tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture, vacuuming and mopping floors, shampooing carpets, washing windows, and emptying trash.
Greet guests warmly, answer questions, and promptly resolve service requests.
Assist with guest room cleaning and fulfill service requests when needed.
Perform periodic deep-cleaning tasks, including flipping mattresses, moving furniture, and waxing floors.
Work a schedule that includes days, weekends, and holidays.
Communicate effectively with guests in public spaces.
