About The Position

Maintain the building to ensure a safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors. The role involves cleaning and maintaining public areas and surfaces using cleaning agents and following the applicable cleaning procedures and instructions. The attendant must be able to perform physical tasks, communicate professionally with guests and colleagues, follow directions, and work with limited supervision.

Requirements

Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Communicate well with guests.
Lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Understand and follow directions and perform job functions under limited supervision.
Have effective verbal and written communication skills and adapt communication style to different audiences, including supervisors, coworkers, and the public.

Nice To Haves

Hotel experience is preferred.
A self-starting personality with an even disposition.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents, and floors using cleaning agents, following procedures and instructions for their use.
Dust furniture, pictures, and shelves, reaching overhead and bending or stooping as needed.
Clean and polish metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motions.
Clean ashtrays and empty trash.
Follow attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
