About The Position

The Public Area Attendant helps ensure the Lodge’s atmosphere meets or exceeds Great Wolf and guest standards by cleaning and maintaining the resort’s common areas. The role may also assist with guestroom cleaning and deliver requested items to guestrooms. The position is offered as full-time or part-time, with flexible scheduling.

Requirements

Be willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
Successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Be able to lift up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds.
Be able to bend, stretch, twist, stand, and walk for long periods.
Be able to climb multiple flights of stairs daily and walk frequently.
Be able to work with chemicals according to directions.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience handling cleaning chemicals.
Excellent customer service skills.
Previous housekeeping or general cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

Vacuum, dust, and clean public areas, including floors, carpets, restrooms, waterpark areas, elevators, windows, and doors.
Keep elevator areas free of debris.
Empty waste receptacles in common areas.
Read and understand material safety data sheets and use chemicals according to directions.
Report maintenance issues in public areas.
Operate the trash compactor and cardboard baler.
Communicate with guests professionally and courteously.
Deliver requested items to guestrooms and return items to storage as necessary.
Assist with guestroom cleaning as needed.
