About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Public Area Attendant to clean and maintain hotel public areas to quality standards. The role includes keeping restrooms, hallways, stairwells, the lobby, elevators, and Front Desk area clean, neat, and free of rubbish and debris. The attendant communicates with the team by two-way radio, responds to guest requests by delivering items to rooms, and assists with cleaning guest rooms as needed. Restrooms must be checked once an hour. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school education.
• Minimum of one year in a housekeeping role.
• Outgoing personality.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
• Team player.
• Ability to exceed guest expectations.
• Customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, and stairwells, to meet quality standards.
• Clean bathrooms; dust furniture and pictures; vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Empty carts of soiled linen and dispose of trash.
• Communicate efficiently on a two-way radio so tasks are prioritized.
• Keep the lobby, elevators, stairways, hallways, and Front Desk area clean, neat, and free of rubbish and debris.
• Keep public restrooms neat and orderly, and check them once an hour.
• Remove spots, insects, and debris; polish fixtures and clean ashtrays.
• Deliver items to rooms upon request and assist with cleaning guest rooms as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
